Arrow Partnership is seeking a mid to senior level Tester for a long-term project with the possibility of going perm working at a client in Downtown Denver. This will be a contract-to-hire engagement.
The tester will be involved with iterations and improvements to several homegrown applications. This person will be performing end-to-end, black box, unit , performance, load and regression testing. The contractor will work on testing application changes that are interrelated with all internal applications. The changes are driven by updated business requirements. The tester will design test scripts and plans among other tasks. This tester must know SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Visual Studio Test Edition 2008.
The client is seeking an additional since they are adding to their current team and their processes. Additionally, they are looking for personal qualities of: self starter, organized, thorough and efficient (person must be able to get past one testing problem to work on other items), make intelligent choices, and the ability to help the team during "crunch" times to deliver applications.
Candidate must have the following:
* Microsoft Visual Studio Test Edition 2008 or 2005 * Visual Studio Load Test Agent * Performance and load testing experience * Query experience in SQL * Experience in TOAD * Proven experience in being flexible and working on many different testing projects at one time * Knowledge of testing methodologies * Excellent communication skills
