POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the design, testing and implementation of .NET, SQL Server and BizTalk applications utilizing client’s standard development procedures and techniques that support the requirements defined by users and analysts. Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of core applications, databases, and utilities.


SKILLS

* Demonstrated ability to balance multiple concurrent projects of varying priorities and shift focus from one project to another with minimal loss of productivity or quality.
* Proficient in identifying project needs, estimating and prioritizing tasks, setting intermediate goals and milestones to accomplish the final outcome.
* Demonstrated experience with database design. A demonstrated understanding of industry best practices and design patterns, Microsoft application blocks, and CSLA concepts.
* Demonstrated experience with developing ASP.Net and VB.Net applications. And the .NET Framework.
* The ability to function as a team player and lead team members in medium-sized projects.
* Experience with other Microsoft languages and technologies, including MSMQ, Sharepoint, Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) and Team Foundation Server.
* Demonstrated experience with adhering to usability, design and development standards.
* Demonstrated experience with all aspects of unit testing, performance testing and user acceptance testing. In-depth experience with the development lifecycle and software development methodologies.
* Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment and interact at all levels to ensure reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of applications.
* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, time management and project planning/strategizing skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science preferred.
* 3+ years of professional, technical experience in a developer role.
* 3+ years Experience of Microsoft development technologies (VB.Net, ASP.Net, XML/XSL, HTML, JavaScript, BizTalk) and a passion for newer emerging technologies such as AJAX, Infragistics, WF, WPF, WCF, etc
* 3+ years experience with developing SQL Server applications and optimization including DDL, DML, stored procedures and triggers.
* Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) Certification preferred.

Hey ya'll, what's going on?
I was pleasantly surprised to see all the feedback. This was unexpected but very very cool.
