Looking for a full-time QA automation engineer to report to the Manager of QA and release engineering in the software development group. This position will have responsibility for developing and implementing an automated testing strategy for all of. The QA Engineer will perform complex software test automation tasks to ensure the quality of the products. This position will develop programs, scripts and tools/utilities to support specific testing goals and define the overall QA Test Automation Strategy. This is a technical, programming-centric position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Create and implement an automated testing strategy for all software applications.
2. Research, evaluate, help select and implement new automated test tools for QA.
3. Work with developers to implement unit testing automation and full system regression testing capabilities.
4. Create test beds, test plans, test cases, suites, and scripts that exercise new builds.
5. Manage a growing suite of regression test scripts to keep them current as the software functionality evolves.
6. Provide testing results, steps to reproduce and regression test statistics to developers and management.
7. Structure test plans and scripts for existing functionality and for new functionality as it is developed.
8. Contribute to the entire development process and the role of QA in it, including participation in requirements, design and prototype activities.
9. Report status weekly and keep all teams informed of activities as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
1. Experience developing and implementing an automated testing approach for a complex enterprise level application.
2. Demonstrate strong QA methodology, process and experience in automation implementation.
3. Proven experience with software development lifecycle and with the development of test solutions.
4. Ability to develop test cases, test scripts, test suites, and test plans.
5. Experience with database systems with an ability to create SQL queries.
6. Any C# / .NET experience coding test cases would be a big plus.
7. Familiar with object-oriented software development concepts and technologies specifically with the .NET Framework.
8. Experience with load and stress testing of Microsoft platforms is preferred.
9. Experience with n-unit test tools and processes.
10. Strong team player with communication, technical and remote collaboration skills.
11. 3+ years of experience with UI automation tools.
12. 3+ years of relational database experience (SQL would be preferred).
13. Experience developing testing strategies for .Net client applications.
14. Background with major ERP/CRM and Microsoft applications (.NET/Web) is a plus.
15. Strong verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to work closely with others on a team, facilitate meetings and to interact with both technical and business oriented individuals. Has the written communication skills necessary to write thorough documentation that can be comprehended by both technical and non-technical individuals
16. 5+ years related experience.
17. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
