Basic Functions:
With minimum supervision, builds and maintains software applications for company enterprise software, provides C# .NET programming and Microsoft SQL Server support for the Association Management System (AMS) and Content Management System (CMS), maintains diminishing support for ASP and Access legacy systems, and assists the IT Manager as needed. This specialist works under the leadership of the Chief Technology Director.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Builds and maintains Web user interface applications in the CMS and Personify (AMS) ecommerce system using C# .NET and other various programming languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, etc)
 Gathers and authors technical and design requirements for AMS, CMS, and other third-party component integrations.
 Analyzes enterprise software technical capabilities and participates in recommending solutions within a team of technical and non-technical staff.
 Modifies and maintains MSSQL data sources.
 Creates, modifies, and maintains SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
 Recommends and implements web-based technical standards.
 Participates as the lead developer in the software development lifecycle.
 Provides support for the Association Management System (Crystal Reports, setups, configuration, data analysis, etc)
 Assists the IT Manager with level 1 desktop and server support as needed.
 Communicates and collaborates with staff members and third-party vendors as needed concerning software changes and maintenance, in meetings, electronically, and through maintaining issue tracking and project management software.

Education and/or Experience:

 Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent related experience and/or training in web and software technologies.
 Broad programming experience (C#,.NET, MS Visual Studio, SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, PHP, etc.)
 Experience configuring and managing IIS and security certificates.
 Expertise in Web development methodologies and W3C standards.
 Strong background in database architecture.
 Demonstrated software full lifecycle experience including requirements gathering, design, source code control, builds, testing, deployment, maintenance, change management, etc.
 General background in IT desktop and server support.
 Highly skilled in communications, collaboration, and team dynamics.
